What ho! Friday is a wonderful thing all round. Well done whoever thought the Day of Frigg would be a good thing-Frigg being an old Norse god. wife of Odin and the queen of Asgard, obviously. So well done to her and her gift of Friday which we intend to celebrate with another ARF at 5pm. Between then and now there are a few words to write- hopefully a thousand but may well end up being fifty two. Procrastination is terrible thing. But it strikes when you at your most vulnerable. Just when you need to concentrate, the coffee needs making, the view needs checking and the internet is such a good research tool (not to mention the bins that need emptying, the clothes that need ironing and the internet being such a good research tool).
No movie show today (see yesterday) so a clear run to 5pm. And 1969 is the year of ARF opening glory. Paul married Linda and the Beatles played live for the last time on the roof of Apple Records. Patrick Troughton bows out as Dr Who, the 50p coin appears and Monty Python is on TV. And your host is a gold star reader at St John's Primary School, Croydon.
Over to you (and take it away Frigg).
