Cloudy and screechy here, how about there? Up with the lark (and the swifts) so it feels like lunchtime already. Tonight’s show will feel like a late-nighter. This is dangerous territory- a post-watershed Drivetime? What could possibly go wrong! Falling asleep may be an issue so will rely on the DT team to keep the energetic enthusiasm levels pumping at all times.
I enjoyed the Jonathan Freedland chat yesterday and continued our chat outside Wogan House as he waited for his taxi. We never got to discuss Iceland on air (there’s a subplot that is set there) so we made up for it off-air. It’s written in a way that lets you know he has walked that ground and climbed that volcano.
