I really can't help it if Catherine and Allison Pierce felt they had to be photographed with their arms around me. Sometimes these things just happen, what can I say. I know it looks like I'm the cat the got the cream but I like to be polite and respectful to all our guests. Especially the Pierces. They can come back anytime (within the stringent BBC guidelines that govern these things obvs).

He's performing a one-man show in Edinburgh-where our paths may well cross again-and seems bursting with ideas. He has written 'Great Britain's Great War' which explores the day to day experience of the British people through the 14-18 war and I would suggest he'll make a lively guest today.
