So a swift walk through the dawdlers of London last night brought us to the Radio Two Gala Show of The Comedy About A Bank Robbery. This was at the Criterion Theatre and for Children In Need and was a delight. It was a rare night at the theatre for all Mayos and I can pass on a big thumbs up from everyone. Brilliant old fashioned farce, clearly inspired by the movies of Abbot and Costello, Laurel and Hardy et al - fast furious and a huge, huge hit. Thanks to the cast - all rattling the buckets after the show!

So today then…

I’m on a half-term break from movies so straight in, all guns blazing for your ARF and let’s go for some 1980 tunes at the top. Farewell to the sixpence, hello to Yes Minister and at the movies it’s Airplane! The Empire Strikes Back and 9 to 5. And on the radio? What would you fancy?
