When you get to my door...

Well put it this way, I'm in Copenhagen. And right now I can hear the Danish rush hour slowly cranking its way through the gears. There may well be a breakfast cheesecake waiting for me but I am resisting its charms (although that makes it the first cheesecake I've said no to this weekend). It's been sunny and fabulous here and I have enjoyed saying 'tak' gratuitously, dressing in Scandi-cool greys and sitting on stylish furniture.

Assuming the trains, planes and automobiles are all working according to plan, all will be well by 5pm and your Drivetime will rock appropriately as normal. It's a Book Club Monday with Becky Chambers' A Closed and Common Orbit as our featured choice. It's a Science Fantasy tale of Lovelace, an artificial intelligence running a large spaceship, who wakes up inside a body she doesn't recognise. But in a strange universe, Pepper, a streetwise mechanic and space pilot becomes her best chum ever. It's beautifully written and well worth you checking out a chapter right here.
