Is that you there? Me here. So that’s the formalities over and done with. Good weekend? We did a family trip to Arrival, Amy Adams new movie. Now I mentioned this on Friday and I am happy to report that it is 1) even better second time around and 2) everyone loved it, it wasn’t just me being weird. And we watched The Crown (you wear the crown) with Claire Foy and Matt Smith which looks fabulous.
But the week is new and shiny! Here comes the Book Club with The Tobacconist by Robert Seethaler. It is the story of 17 year old Franz who takes a job as a Viennese Tobacconist’s apprentice, falls in with Sigmund Freud and, in 1937, and waits for the Anschluss with Nazi Germany. Its a must-read and here’s the link so you can read a chapter right now. You’re welcome.
And check out that SUPERMOON! Ok so it’s cloudy and it is totally hidden but you know it is there. It is the closest approach since 1948. At 11.21 this morning it will be at its closest - just 356,509km away.
To observers, it will appear about 7% larger than normal and about 15% brighter - although the human eye is barely able to discern that difference. So work a little harder people! It won't be this close again until 25 November 2034 when we will do SUPERMOON again.
