Well a good Tuesday to you. And in case there is anyone new here, you’re very welcome. Maybe you’re on the run from somewhere else, seeking refuge from the news or some such. Well stick around and have a chat with all these good good people (to quote Embrace).
No moon here as far as I could tell. Inspired by Dr Marek last night, I gave it a go but, like most of the UK, just too much cloud. A few lucky listeners saw it (hello Hereford!!) but otherwise we have to make do with other peoples pictures. Like seeing someone else’s holiday snaps (ooh really that must have been so lovely for you do tell me more).
Today we line up with top columnist Matthew Parris, winner of Best Political Journalist award in 2015. He is always insightful, witty and wise and now he comes with a book load of scorn. Actually that’s Scorn, the name of his new compendium of put-downs and insults from sport, politics, religion, art and music. And everything else. Jolly good fun it is too so let’s do some tunes in the same spirit. How about NAME-CALLING, PUT-DOWNS, AND HAVING A POP Oldies and see where we end up.
