Looks like a cold one. Winter wardrobe out in full effect (curse you February, what a lousy month) and you’ll need the longjohns for a while (see yesterday’s blog). February half-term is always the toughest holiday; memories of family caravan holidays flood back. Main memory-ice on the inside of the windows. And ice in the chemical loo. Salad days indeed!

Imelda Staunton today. She was last on the show for Gypsy and now she stars in a new film Finding Your Feet, alongside Celia Imrie, Timothy Spall and Joanna Lumley. Imelda plays ‘Lady’ Sandra Abbott who discovers that her husband of 40 years is having an affair with her best friend. She seeks refuge with her sister Bif played by Celia Imrie, moving from great luxury to humble, run down flats. Fish out of water etc. Eventually she begins to find her feet (obviously) and she joins the local community dance class where new love beckons (spoiler alert, though not much of one to be honest).

So DANCE CLASS OLDIES will be fabulous and sparkly...
