Well now. Mild and breezy round these parts which is fine by me. I trust your weekend was a good one. I did a strange thing, I watched a heady cocktail of Strictly, Bake Off and Poldark. Normally I retreat to the kitchen radio, book or computer at these times but I TOOK PART and enjoyed all three. Whether this unusual behaviour continues I cannot say. I also went to the Cheltenham Lit Festival and ate salad in the same tent I ate salad in when we did the show from there a few years back. And I was served salad by the same woman who served me then too. The salad had changed but everything else was the same and what a top place Cheltenham is.
Speaking of Lit…
Book Club today with Michelle Paver’s Thin Air. It’s a cracking Ghost Story set in the Himalayas in the 1930s. Anthony Horowitz was singing its praises a few days back and you will too. Read some here then listen to Michelle after 6.
And THIN AIR might just give us some jolly tunes too.
Carry on
