Laughing like children

What ho. Wet and cool go well with Tuesdays. BUT when you have to be all dressed up, that’s a drag. Super smart for The Royal Variety dinner (apparently jeans and a Ramones T-shirt doesn’t cut it), and there is at the small matter of a Ben Affleck interview.

I am not doing Black Tie for Ben even if he is the current Batman. Seems like we’re bound for the old 7pm toilet/changing room routine. I’ll have missed the soup and possibly the chicken but will be there in time to cheer the awards and speeches. May get some pudding.

And we are talking BLUES today with Bill Wyman as he gears up for Bluesfest at the O2 in London. What a line-up too with guest appearances from Robert Plant, Mark Knopfler and Imelda May.

Later in the weekend Van Morrison, Jeff Beck and Paul Rogers with Bad Company take to the stage so this is a big weekend.

So let’s pick some BLUES related, BLUES influenced, classic BLUES oldies and we’ll be away…
