Too Many Crisps

Presenter
Good morning to all fine and dandy folk of the blog. Tuesday dawning cold and dark here (quelle surprise!) and a day of 1)books and 2)the show. It's our book club quarterly today where the great and good sit in a large room and decide which books make into the Book Club next year. It is a well known fact that all meetings are off the devil and destroy the soul but this one turns out to be the last redoubt of creativity. So many books, so little time. You will hear the results of our labours in the near future...
Then the show and we can bring you Sparks live in the studio! Yes it is your actual Ron and Russel Mael to bring you festive greetings. Plus, unbelievably, their Kimono My House album is 40 years old. A special anniversary edition with extra sparkly bit and pieces has been released and the vinyl edition is a mighty thing indeed. I've loved Sparks since This Town Ain't Big Enough which is track one here. Their Top of the Pops performance was the talk of school for quite some time!
And Nige is in today with some ideas for making food as presents. Top idea-who wouldn't want some pickled herring in brine for a gift? So let's do GETTING THE FOOD AND DRINK IN oldies please and get this party started.
Delivery 5pm.
