Yes thats sorted. A day of not talking much, drinking honey and lemon and watching Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King was how I spent yesterday. Thanks to the Sara for stepping up-I’m sure she was fabulous but I was in the middle of an epic Orc battle in Middle Earth which went on for ever. The great thing about Orcs when you’re ill is that they look and sound worse than you (for the most part) and so are a source of encouragement
I’m chancing a return today. 2 shows should test my larynx to the max but the show must go on ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Filmshow at 2 with that 50 Shades film dominating the headlines.There were no screenings for critics which makes things tricky. There’s nothing a critic likes better than to have to pay to see a movie but lets be honest-this isn’t for them. We’ll spend a bit more time with the fabulous Julianne Moore talking about her Oscar nominated, Bafta winning role in Still Alice.
And ARF time with 1983 surfacing as our favoured year. The CD was released all lovely and shiny and definitely the future. For a while at least. Breakfast TV was a thing but always boring and the Metro was Britain’s biggest selling car. And if there was a big hair, big shoulder padded song you’d like then drop in the box below.
