Thanks for the posts yesterday, we were feeling our way minute by minute and I think we ended up with the right balance. Some songs really developed wings yesterday; Joe Cocker’s With A Little Help From My Friends has always been a mighty song but yesterday it just seemed to soar. My Hometown, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Stand By Me, all wonderful. Anyway today I think we edge back to normality, or as close to it as we can manage.
Phil ‘Tuffers’ Tufnell, former England spin bowler and TV star has written ‘Tuffers’ Cricket Hall of Fame’, full of heroes, icons and legends. It’s a motley collection that includes broadcasters, umpires and oddballs-the kind of stuff you’d expect from Tuffers. So we should do some ICONS AND LEGENDS tunes, which will fit just fine.
