Still interesting after all these years

Feels like Thursday but actually isn't. Feel hungover and only drunk tea last night. Being 22, acting 17 (what's the difference eh?) Dark and gloomy here but a sparkler of a show on the way to brighten your darkness. Yes it's true. That mid-week show that marks the passing of the hump; the middle of the week has been and gone and we're downhill to the weekend (get on with it Mayo).

One of my favourite people is on today, thats John Lloyd, legendary comedy producer and the man behind QI on TV. It was John who was with us in Edinburgh in the summer as Sofie Gråbøl (top punctuation) unleashed a torrent of Anglo Saxon, prompting him to translate 'that's Danish for fish'. A memorable moment. The look on 400 faces from where I sat was a sight I will remember a long time! Anyway there's a new QI book knocking around and assorted facts are read out from it on a regular basis in our house. I have learnt that these facts are more interesting when read out in ones and twos. By the time you get to fifteen I'm glazing over. I like he way John thinks and his approach to life so he can come on anytime frankly.

And the challenge of course is for INTERESTING oldies. Whether quite or very, they are welcome!
