On time, poised and ready. Another Friday adventure, with added walking. The movie show wanders down to Westminster again (amazingly, the only studio available to us) for a one hour special at midday. It’s a top show because Christophe Waltz is a fascinating guest, talking the new Tarzan movie in which he plays the arch bad guy, an emissary of the King of Belgium (a real bad guy himself). He breezed in, espresso in hand and dressed in a cream linen suit; exactly as Christophe Waltz is supposed to dress.
Then a leisurely stroll through the tourist throng to ARF central where 1984 is selected as your opening year of requirement. We lost the halfpenny and the £1 note. We got the GCSEs in England and Wales, we got David Jenkins as the Bishop of Durham and Starlight Express was the big new musical. At the movies it’s Ghostbusters, Gremlins and The Terminator and on your radio? Who wants what?
