It seems all that ‘it’ll be over by the weekend’ stuff from the weather forecasters might have even wildly optimistic. Storm Emma joins the fun today (Emma, meet the Beast; Beast, Emma)so maybe we’ll be all-swathed up for quite a bit longer. Oh and happy spring everyone! This March 1st will be remembered for a awhile. I am just old enough to have a hazy memory of the winter of 63 when helicopters dropped food to us and other families trapped in Devon. We’d gone for Christmas, we stayed till January.
Whether Nigel makes it through the wildness, heaven knows. He’s planning a St David’s Day peppered steak which will be a fine if we get it but we’ll have some more tunes ready. We’ve done a Tunesday and a mega-mosh, I’m sure there’s a Thursday-version we can spin. Themes? Thrash? We’ll see...
Meantime it’s National Bed Month beginning today! This might have escaped your notice but who can doubt the importance of a good bed and a restful sleep (ha!), so lets pile in with some BED and BEDTIME oldies.
