The news man just said ‘might last till Easter’. I’m hoping he was quoting from one of those papers that always predict catastrophe for every turn of the weather, but who knows? When everyone is talking about ‘snowmageddon’, maybe we should assume that we’ll be hunkered down for a while yet. It’s been amusing to see how, in these parts anyway, pretty much everyone has given up on fashion. Now its the ‘whatever I can find that covers every inch of me, even if its my Nan’s tea-cosy’ look.
And your ARF kicks off with hits from 1978, the year of Evita opening in London, the Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy is first broadcast on Radio 4 and (just as loved) the proceedings of Parliament is broadcast on the radio for the first time. At the movies its Halloween, Grease and Animal House. And on the radio?
