and no bone-chilling, howling February nastiness to report just yet. If you're in Somerset this won't be much comfort but the coldest month is upon us-shovels and travel rugs at the ready. Hope yours was a fine weekend, ours definitely involved too much food and too much time to argue over board games. I thought my hummed rendition of Video Killed The Radio Star was clear and obvious, sadly my team had no idea what it was I was performing. It could have been Mahler's Fifth or Status Quo for all they knew. Oh the shame.

Rosanne Cash for you today, live from New York. She has a new album out The River and The Thread, an exploration of the American South; the cover has Rosanne on the famous Tallahatchie Bridge. It's a 'prodigal girl goes home' album and features appearances from Kriss Kristofferson, Alison Moorer and John Prine. 'If I never make another album I will be content because I made this one' she says. Which sounds pretty content to me.

And why not do RIVER songs while we're at it? Plenty to choose from...
