Well just a few hours after talking Georgio Moroder with David Hepworth (and a bit of Fleetwood Mac), low and behold Chris announces him as one of the attractions for our big gig in HydePark. I could claim top knowledge of course and maybe that would be wise, however the truth is that it was merely serendipity, I have never (being old) quite seen the bog-gig-attraction in watching a DJ in a field put on records but with GM’s back catalogue and the prospect of some Donna Summer or Sparks at full volume, I’m a convert. It’s a good line up already with a real big name coming tomorrow.
A foody Thursday on the way with stuffed peppers and pork and assorted things that will go splendidly. And all cooked right through! Result!
And we’ll do HAPPY oldies today with a courteous bow to James Last who died yesterday. His easy listening albums were wildly popular of course and it was categorised as Happy Music. So Happy hits please!
