On the tube. I can barely breathe, let alone type. It's the worst time to be travelling! What am I doing! Everyone looks cross and smelly. The woman opposite has flowery hat on. This is not Ascot madam! We don't need hats on the underground, particularly hats adorned with daffodils.
Tunesday was a hit I think with Fleetwood Mac and The Adventures taking most plaudits. Felt desperately sorry for all the FM fans heading to Birmingham, only to hear that the gig was off due to illness, the disappointment was palpable in every text and email. But that Adventures song-what a tune!! I introduced them on Top of the Pops in 1988 and loved it then. I was amazed it wasn't a bigger hit but it is clearly still loved by many. Another Tunesday soon.
