Awaiting inspiration.
Been sitting here for an hour but nothing doing.
Radio on, radio off, still nothing.
With coffee, without coffee, zilch.
*whistles*
*goes for walk*
*showers*
Nope. It’s a January Tuesday, that’s the problem. I’ll just have to tell you about then show then. It’s great. You want more? Ok well 10CC man Graham Gouldman is on today to talk about the 40th anniversary of Sheet Music, the album that gave us Wall Street Shuffle, Silly Love and The Worst Band World. Graham had a great career as a songwriter in the 60s with tunes for The Yardbirds The Hollies and Hermans Hermits. But it is 10CC that GG is mainly associated with and Sheet Music really showed that they were never going to be the bubblegum band many thought they were to start with.
And Celtic Connections continues tonight so our oldies need to have a CELTIC CONNECTION- however tenuous. Even if it’s just that drummer’s mother lived in Dundee, we’ll take it. Full blown Celtic connections also welcome
*wanders off around the block again*
