Morning. What a day it promises to be, full of excitement, innovation and surprise. I have no idea if this is true but you never know. I'm talking up the possibilities of Tuesday as it often gets a bad press.Thursday and Friday have proximity to the weekend, Wednesday straddles the week-the worst is over, and Monday has a lot of work put into it and songs composed in its honour. Tuesday is the poor relation (Ruby Tuesday doesn't count) so we shall try to put extra work into today on your behalf. Your welcome.
Last night was swinging to a bit of New Forest skiffle as Mark Kermode's Dodge Brothers played the 100 club in London. It is fair to say that I had less hair product on than anyone else there but had a merry time despite being accused of not enjoying myself by one crowd member. Apparently I wasn't tapping my leg enough for her and felt under examination from that point on. I can enjoy some washboard based music along with anyone but not if being studied by a hard-line jiving examiner. I might even have stood still on purpose, just to show my free spirit/obstinacy.
Who wants to choose an oldie? I think STRESS will work. Prince William say he relieves his by listening to the sounds of the African bush. What do you do with yours? STRESS songs please...
