Well most seem to have enjoyed Richard Osman’s appearance yesterday, especially his list of things that we do best in this country. Plenty to cheer after all, as it turns out. Then I hastened to the glittering West End to see a new play Heisenberg: The Uncertainty Principle starring Anne-Marie Duff and Kenneth Cranham. In fact they’re the only two actors in it! Ann-Marie is coming on the show soon, so this seemed only fair. It’s written by the man who wrote the stage version of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Simon Stephens and is really rather excellent. PLUS one tube of chocolate covered toffees was quite enough to fight off any sleepiness.
Some more hearty fare to day with Nigel’s Beef Ale and Chorizo pie (no sausage roll needed Matt) and as it’s THANKSGIVING in the USA, it’s time for our annual thanksgiving and gratitude playlist!
