Thursday already and we are looking at Brucie Bonus all day. Yes that’s right there is no food on the show today. You don’t just cancel food for no reason. But we have that reason I think.
Now I am well aware not everyone shares my enthusiasm for The Boss and that is all well and good. However today is my chance to wallow a bit. To indulge my weakness. To say ‘Hello Bruce Springsteen, welcome to Radio 2.'
He really really doesn’t do this kind of thing normally you know so let’s roll with it. I think you’ll enjoy the chat we had.
It’s in a hotel suite as these things tend to be and we stood, paced and fretted as we wait for him to finish talking to The Observer. Which was a long time. But then he wanders in, chats to everyone, selects headphones (always a good sign) and we were off.
