Morning from a sunny office with blue sky and warm temps on the way (temperatures not casual staff obvs). First blogger in shorts? Maybe too early for all that sort of thing. But anyway it's a cheerier Wednesday in these parts. With the Bay City Rollers on the radio (good BCR confession the other day) I'm right back at school and remembering the scorn we all felt for them as we flaunted our love for Focus (yes including writing their name on our fingers like the LP sleeve). But I was still singing shangalang anyway...
So here we go with another fine Wednesday show and Tony Parsons is our guest after 6. Tony has shifted with impressive ease into crime fiction and the creation of Detective Max Wolfe, an everyman police hero based in Savile Row in London. The reviews are impressive and I'm page-turning furiously. It's quite a change for the man associated with Man And Boy and One For My Baby but Lee Child and Jeffrey Deaver say it's good and that's good enough for me. How about COPS AND ROBBERS then for the tunes today?
That's all lovely then. See you at 5
