Almost farewell to winter

Which seems to be blowing out with a flourish of rain, snow, slush and gales. Certainly been notable for an absence of the white stuff down our way which might cause grumbling in the tobogganing reaches of the family but is fine with the less than healthy sections.

First early start for me for a while, testing my stamina with an arduous morning in a screening of the new Terry Gilliam movie. Followed by TG himself to explain the bits I was coughing through. Which is nice.

Then blown and buffeted, to the loving embrace of the Radio 2 family and a Nigel feast. He offers chilli & garlic oil, with aubergine puree with the small matter ofroasted red mullet fillets. And this on national chilli day. Actually make that NATIONAL CHILLI DAY for your oldies please and a warming end to your day.
