Weekend of deadlines here, editing like fury. The thing about editing a book is that you have never really finished, there is always something that can be done better. Stepping away and then handing it in is impossible, so you need that deadline nagging away at you. This one has taken nearly 3 years so it has become a way of life. Maybe I’ll ask for an extension…
