A blog from the garden, pre-7 o'clock! Coffee, swifts, gulls, sprinklers, waking babies, planes, helicopters, radios and bees make up the audio feed which I should really record and post as an aural accompaniment. But I'm not sure the BBC blog technology would cope too well if I tried.
Today we welcome top actor Andrew Scott to the show. His Moriarty to Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock was much admired, his turn as Max Denbigh in Spectre was applauded but his Hamlet is garnering the rave notices. I've seen it and trust me, your occasional theatre critic, he's sensational. I'm aware Tony B calls Steps 'sensational' in our trail for Hyde Park so maybe I should try 'mesmerising ' or 'outstanding ' instead.
Either way, don't miss Andrew tonight.
And what else can there be to pick but WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE tunes please! And if music be the food of love etc
