Beans for breakfast is one of those things that you would never, ever consider anywhere apart from a hotel. In the privacy of your own kitchenette you might countenance some yoghurt, fruit muesli, granola, cereal or toast. Or somesuch. But that can of beans in the larder will stay exactly where it is. But once offered, in all honesty, I can't say no.. And that egg maybe, the hash browns and the fried bread...I need to get home soon.
But not before 2 more Edinburgh shows for you. Yesterday was top fun with Andreya Triana and Lost Voice Guy stealing the headlines I think. AT oozed class and was an instant hit (Gyles Brandreth was smitten!) and Lost Voice Guy's confession was an instant classic. Today we hit the big blue tent with Barry Cryer, Marcus Brigstocke, Jason Byrne and QI inventor and Meaning Of Liff creator John Lloyd doing his confession. Jack Savoretti is leading the house band and you can see it all on the red button if the radio pictures aren't quite everything you want.
It's sunny now, raining later. All my wardrobe choices will be needed...
