The de-caff is tasting good this morning (can't tell the difference now) and we have a former Eagle to talk to. This is Wednesday in all its loveliness. A few things to attend to first, including a chat with Gillian Anderson but then get to 5pm and its downhill to the weekend already.
Timothy B Schmidt has been an Eagle since the Hotel California tour but learnt too that the band was erratic enough to make sure he keeps up the solo work. With the death of Glenn Frey last year and Don Henley saying that was it for the band, it was inevitable that the solo albums would be on their way. Timothy was here in 2012 for his last album, the strangely named Expando, and his new one is Leap of Faith and is full of his distinctive high harmonies and mellow tunes.
And for oldies how about we join in with with the Girl Guides and Girl Scouts WORLD THINKING DAY, a day of international friendship. So THINKING is a good topic for those tunes I think...
