Scarlett Pressure Cooker
Scarlett has been through enough for one day. First, she thinks she's pregnant - alerting Jimmy to the fact that she can hardly fit into her jeans - then the doctor dropped the bombshell that it could be the menopause. An afternoon like that would be enough to make anyone want to hide from the world, but Scarlett's hopes are raised when she hears that Bob's back in town.
She just wants everything to go back to how it was. So she goes over to invite Bob round for his favourite dinner. No response. Still, she keeps hoping... only to get stood up. Clearly Bob can't contribute to the normality of life that Scarlett so desperately needs. The bridies and chips go cold. "It's over" she tells Jimmy. Could this be it for Scarlett and Bubba?

At 13:45 8th Nov 2010, lesley wrote:No way Scarlet would never turn her back on wee Bob.They are so close and yes Scarlet must be so upset seeing him with Theresa and Molly.But wee Bob knows that Scarlet is more of a mother to him than Theresa ever was.I really hope that Scarlet and Bob can sort things out,i really miss the banter between them.Jimmy miust be so upset too as he treated Bob like a son and they were very close.Hope things get sorted out and its a happy christmas for them all in Scarletts home.
