Another winning turn from Mrs Carroll -Alison Peebles does such a good job bringing the sour-faced lady to life. Her snooty manner in the salon would've curdled milk. But the final straw was definitely Iona - and her comment about the lack of sleep at the newly-weds' house. That broke the camel's back for sure. Will Sheila Carroll be as much fun in the withering looks stake now she's made her peace with the Rossis? We've still go the wedding to look forward to...

Glad Mrs Carroll finally came round! Feel so bad about morna the wedding planner! :-/ what a name morna lol. Fraser sooooo annoys me! He's so selfish and ungrateful for everything. He thinks he's god's gift to women, glad Jo put him in his place! He's also got love handles! As always loved Scarlett this week, she's a legend. Love raymond too trying to stay calm with Eileen :-)

And poor raymond... He has the patience of a saint to be dealing with eileen... But he's a super nice guy and a dad to be!!!!

I was thinking something and have just had a good look at the river city cast page and i'm slightly confused... There don't seem to be any characters from any ethnic backgroungs.

The west end of Glasgow where river city is meant to be based on (whiteinch, partick etc) has a very diverse background of people from a variety of different cultures and nationalities. I was driving through the west end today and saw a whole cascade of colour - most of these people were born and raised in Glasgow and are an integral part of the city.

We have the afro-carribean community, pakistani, indian & chinese but to name a few... and these communities are not small either.

I'd like to see a little bit of colour injected back into river city.

There have been non-white characters previously but none of them have seemed to have lasted... That's a bit of a shame as i feel that river city is a fairly accurate portrayal of an average glasgowesque city...

However in my opinion it currently doesnt reflect the wide spectrum of races and religions that we have.

Eastenders for example has a variety of black and asian characters... from the masoods to the trumans... They might not have a lot of non-white characters but they always have a few coloured characters...

    Just like the real london.

So are we likely to see any black/asian characters introduced soon?

If anybody knows how i could get in touch with the makers of river city to address my query - an email address would be super helpful!!! would be most appreciated.

p.s everybody loves wee boab! He's the maaaaan!!!! and scarlett's his mum no matter what the evil wee woman says! (getting back on topic...)

Thanks for your comments - we're loving Raymond dancing round Eileen too. She has every right to be in a permanent bad mood we reckon ;) Kez, we'll get back to you on your thoughts, thanks for getting in touch. If you'd like to get in touch with the programme makers directly you can do this using the enquiries unit. Details of how to contact them in the FAQ - https://www.bbc.co.uk/rivercity/faq/

I've already been in touch through the contact form and look forward to a response.

However i forgot all about Chris!!! Dean Anthony Fagan... He's not a major character yet but it's a step in the right direction. He's also a pretty funny guy when he's noising up deek!
