It'd be lovely to focus today's blog on the gorgeous model in Scott's life drawing class... but there's no getting away from tonight's trauma. What a terrible, terrible thing to have happened. Jo has lost Nazir and little Franco. She came back to Shieldinch with high hopes for the future. How is she going to get through this?

Obviously Gina's suffering too but Ruth must've felt awful tonight - Gina just went off on one and it wasn't her daughter's fault. What d'you think?

PS Why did Deek tell Ewan where Amber and Lydia are hiding?! Just two weeks ago he considered a hero! Bah.

Not only does Jo reappear on your screen this evening, another familiar face returns to the streets of Shieldinch next week. If you don't want to know who it is then look away now!

Still here?

Sure you want to know?

Okay, it's McCabe (played by Tam Dean Burn)! He turns up next Tuesday and let's just say Mr Lenny Murdoch is not exactly pleased to see him. Oh we do like to see Lenny in a bad mood.

Isn't it great to see Lenny getting his just desserts?! It's so refreshing. Where do your loyalties lie? Are you still mourning the love affair between Amber and Stuart, or are you impressed by Mr Murdoch's cunning? And is there a little part of you that blames Lydia?

That was some revelation from Gordon. He's Hayley's dad!!!! There must be a lot more to come from that. What are your theories?

Wow. That was tense! Scarlett played a blinder, trying to manipulate Michael, and who knew that Deek was such a He-Man?! Scarlett's loved ones got there in the nick of time and it was hugely impressive.

What did you think? Did any of you suspect Learmonth early on? Those basement scenes were amazing. It's almost a shame to lose him from our screens!

Arrrgh, why did it have to end there?! Scarlett's trapped by Learmonth, let's hope she's going to be okay! He's getting creepier by the week. Will Scarlett be his next victim?

As for Amber... well done, girl! It's about time Lenny Murdoch was wrong-footed. I hope he realises what he's done to his daughter.

Oh, and a message for Deek: please don't get in the way of those two nice lovebirds. Bob and Nicki are so sweet together.

Well, that was an awkward conversation for Charlie last night! Telling his folks can't have been easy; I really felt for him. D'you think he's doing the right thing, turning his back on Uni?

Robbie and Hayley living together? Hmm, I predict chaos! And Lenny saying he'll do "one last deal"? Aye, pull the other one... I hope Amber gives him what for.
