What a tear-jerker! At least Scott was able to make peace with his dad, but what a way for him to find out about his dad's condition!
And surely time must be running out for the attacker? Now that the ladies have decided to fight back, I wouldn't put money on him coming out the winner in any fight- especially not against Gina! She certainly put Eileen in her place. What did you think of tonight's episode?
Tonight's episode is an emotional one for Scott, as he is forced to confront the fact that his dad is dying. Tony Kearney gave an interview in yesterday's Sun about the difficulty of filming such traumatic scenes. Read what he had to say here.
Poor Gina! And still, there's no sign of anyone catching the attacker. Funny that Jack turned up so quickly though... was Gina lucky to have a knight in shining armour so close by, or is there something more sinister going on?
And what was that between Bob and Nicki? Is Bob finally going to be lucky in love?
Poor Amber! The girl's got it bad, and Innes isn't going to let her off easily! Should she keep on trying to impress him, or back off before things get even worse?
And just who is behind all the attacks in Shieldinch, if Marcus is innocent?
Wow! How devious is Alex? Last time Brian was seen in Shieldinch he crashed a stolen car, killing his poor gran Moira, and this was after he'd kidnapped his step-sister Hazel and kept her locked in a cellar over Christmas! Glad to see he's doing better now though!
And will Amber get the message about Innes? He's obviously not interested- or is he? What do you think and what did you think about tonight's episode?
It's all quiet down in Dumbarton but word from the set is that a family of magpies has taken up residence in the deli! We are trying to encourage them to leave ( as kindly as we can). Also some more sinister squatters might have moved into the studio- it seems there may be poltergeist activity! A shelf had fallen down in the Mullens' kitchen with no apparent cause! No real damage though - just a cup and saucer broken. Let's hope they are not Scarlett's favourites!
As you all know, River City is on a filming break for the summer. But that doesn't mean that our cast aren't working hard!
Deirdre Davis (Eileen) and Jayd Johnson (Nicki) will be appearing in 'Cooking With Elvis' at the Tron Theatre from next week. Also appearing will be Gavin Mitchell from Still Game and Martin Docherty from Dear Green Place. Full details are on the Tron's website.
