What a tear-jerker! At least Scott was able to make peace with his dad, but what a way for him to find out about his dad's condition!

And surely time must be running out for the attacker? Now that the ladies have decided to fight back, I wouldn't put money on him coming out the winner in any fight- especially not against Gina! She certainly put Eileen in her place. What did you think of tonight's episode?

Like most of you, I am also moved by Scott tonight, what a talented guy. It was a touching storyline sensitively written and performed.

I am also relieved to see all the community flocking together to ensure they protect themselves as much as they can against that awful attacker.

I loved the poetic justice of the bible-thumping bigot being less comfortable with himself than his gay son.

Last night's show was amazing. River City is back on top, its quality is excellent and from 'Digital Spy' forums - the feedback the show is recieving is really good, but after last nights show it certainly proved that the standards of the show get better and better.

A massive well done to Tony Kearney who plays Scott. Must have been hard for him re-living the pain after loosing his father in real-life, so if anything - well done Tony! Was really sad.

The whole attacker storyline is gripping. Im excited to know who it is.

When i think it was Eileen who said in the pub last night 'so he could be local? Sitting in the pub in here just now' was quite chilling because i think we do know it possibly could be someone local whos playing everyone for fools.

    10/10

Having previously thought the attacker might be Alex Judd, I've now changed my mind and am wondering if it's Scarlett's uni lecturer mate.

I totally agree with MarkG42 that the attacker could be Scarletts Lecturer. It was a sad episode, however as always i love how River City storylines lighten up anybodys day like last nights issue of 'The rat or me, Jimmy'. River City writers deserve an award for their corking lines that cheer me up everytime I feel rubbish or even when i dont they just make me happier!

I admit there is something fishy about Jack as well as Charlie so the attacker could be anybody!

I am devastated becuase i am going on holiday next Tue for two weeks so i will miss it for two weeks! Will i get it on iPlayer?

what a fab episode, from tears to laughter from one scene to the next. The storylines and use of characters have far improved, it really had gone downhill for a while. the scenes with Scott and his dad were so moving and so well written and acted, river city is really back to its best

One word for Tuesday nights acting, briliant. The story line allthough very sad was very good.Scotts acting was excellent but it allways is.I felt so upset for him when his father didnt want his kidney, poor Scott would have gladly gave his kidney to save his dads life but his dad refused it.It was good that his dad and him had a good talk and Scott stood up to him and said what he wanted too.It was so sad that in the end Scott and his father got close and then his dad passed away. But at least now Scott can get on and enjoy his life without feeling any guilt as him and his dad made up which was good.i still think the attacker is Alex Judd but maybe it could be the lecturer.Who knows it could well be someone that we never thought about.I think the self defence course was a really good idea and the move that was demonstrated was good to know about and will im sure be remembered by many women who watch the programme. Its good to see Eileen taking on a caring role trying to protect women in Shiedinch from being attacked.Shes making a really good councillor as she really does care about the communities safety.Scarlet and Jimmy were so funny especially when Scarlet screamed oot of her and was standing on a chair when she came across the wee rat.As usual the one liners were so funny especially the one from Jimmy about Scarlets pyjamas being thicker than the berlin wall that was so funny.I really think its time to praise the writers of River City as the story lines have been getting better and better each week.Well done you are doing a grand job, thanks for such a great programme.

I loved last weeks episode and I am wishing time would go a little faster to see if maybe to-night we will find out who the attacker is.Scott had me in tears his acting was so beautiful and caring it was hard to believe he was playing a part,so well done to him.I to think it is Scarlet`s teacher pal who is the guy who is the attacker but then again what about the young guy who works in the hairdresser`s
