This Sunday morning my special guest is writer and academic, Bashabi Fraser. A classical Indian dancer and choreographer, her rich heritage and dual identity informs her writing, and allows her to live, in her head and her heart, between two worlds.

After this week's interest-rate rigging scandal I'll be asking author, Edward Skidelsky, why, in some areas of society, the concept of "enough" doesn't exist. What happened to the "good life" and how do we measure happiness in today's world.

Mother of 2, Emily Cutts thinks she might have part of the answer, and decided that enough was enough. Sick of the consumer culture surrounding children today, she has organised an outdoor family event in Glasgow next Sunday, with the aim of reconnecting children with Nature. 'Enough's Enough, Ditch the Stuff' is aimed at counteracting the negative effects of materialism.

The Free Church of Scotland has entered the world of digital marketing by advertising on Facebook. Reverend David Robertson explains why they're the first church in Scotland to use social media to spread the Word.

I'll be hearing why not everyone is happy with the decision to confer World Heritage Site status on the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, despite the urgent need for repairs to the millennium and a half old structure.

And Anne Ellis discovers another hidden gem at the Lillie Gallery in Glasgow.

There's another selection from the Listening Project and a poem from Cuba in the Written World collection, and together with a great blend of music, it's well worth tuning in to Sunday Morning with me, Cathy Macdonald.
