David Stenhouse is a Senior Producer in Edinburgh who often makes programmes for Radio Scotland such as The Gorbals Vampire as well as making shows for Radio 4. There's some spaces in the audience for a programme he is recording tomorrow in Edinburgh and this invite is on a first come first served basis. Here's some more information about the recording if you fancy going along:

Wed 18th Aug, at 1.15pm at the Scottish Poetry Library.

Radio 4 are recording a series of short talks at the Scottish Poetry Library in Crichton's Close, just off the Canongate on Wed 18th at 1.15pm sharp. The event will last an hour and a half. Martin Bell, the man in the white suit, will ask whether standing as MP for Tatton was worth it. The writer Candia McWilliam will speak about losing her sight and her love of the Edinburgh cityscape. We'll also hear from painter Alison Watt, satirist Alistair Beaton and Nick Phillipson on economist Adam Smith.

There are a limited number of seats available - come early to avoid disappointment.

1.15pm sharp this Wednesday at the Scottish Poetry Library in Crichton's Close, just off the Canongate.
