#BelleAndSeb6Music – Be a part of a Belle and Sebastian tweet-in and help pick the playlist

Dan Cocker

Producer

This week (Sunday, 11 January 6-8pm) Now Playing celebrates the return of Belle and Sebastian and hands them control of BBC 6 Music for two hours to play the music they love - with help from you, of course!

Ahead of the band’s Maida Vale session for Steve Lamacq next week, where they’ll play music from their brand new album, ‘Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance’, Belle and Sebastian takes over Now Playing on Sunday.

The band will be LIVE on Twitter as our latest tweet-in guests, sifting through your song suggestions sent via the hashtag #BelleAndSeb6Music.

And as part of their special playlist we'll also play extra session music from Maida Vale, recorded just for us at 6 Music.

But they need YOU to suggest songs to play during Sunday's Now Playing.

You can also suggest Belle And Sebastian collaborations, influences, rare covers and B-sides, tenuous associations or any other interesting connections you can come up with.

Get your song suggestions – including the reasons WHY - into us by tweeting #BelleAndSeb6Music, comment on the Now Playing Facebook page, here on the blog, email nowplaying@bbc.co.uk or drag tracks onto our Spotify and Rdio playlists.
