Following this week’s announcement that Bjork is back with a new album, Tom Robinson invites you to help create the ultimate Bjork-inspired playlist.
On Tuesday the Icelandic singer unveiled ‘Vulnicura’, her first album in four years, in a handwritten note that she posted on Twitter. The LP is Bjork’s first since her 2011 Grammy-nominated ‘Biophilia’.
Bjork said, "Ladies and gentlemen, I am very proud to announce my new album is coming out in March. It is called: Vulnicura," The singer also listed Vulnicura's song titles: ‘Stonemilker’, ‘Lionsong’, ‘History of Touches’, ‘Black Lake’, ‘Family’, ‘Notget’, ‘Atom Dance’, ‘Mouth Mantra’, and ‘Quicksand’.
As well as launching the new album, March will also see the opening of Björk's Museum of Modern Art exhibition in New York. Sounds like the perfect excuse for us to dedicate the show to one of the world’s most iconic and charismatic artists - Bjork!

We want your music suggestions for this special Bjork playlist, which could include her own songs, musical associations, artists she’s been influenced by or in turn have influenced, collaborators or any other interesting musical connection.
Get your Bjork-inspired suggestions to Tom – including the reasons WHY - via the hashtag #Bjork6Music to help create a playlist. Comment on the Now Playing Facebook page, here on the blog, email nowplaying@bbc.co.uk or drag tracks onto our Spotify and Rdio playlists.
