On this Sunday’s show (5 October, 6-8pm), we’re celebrating vinyl’s comeback following news this week that sales are likely to hit the one million mark by the end of the year - having already outsold last year’s total with three months still to go.

Arctic Monkey’s 'AM' tops the list with the most vinyl sales so far, followed by Jack White's 'Lazaretto', Oasis's first album 'Definitely Maybe' and then the self-titled debuts from Royal Blood and Led Zeppelin.
Online music sites and bloggers have been reporting the news unveiled by the Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA), which also reveals that vinyl sales are at their highest since 1997 and have already sold four times as many as compared to 2008.
So this week, Now Playing is acting as a virtual jukebox for YOUR prized vinyl. We simply want you to send in a photo of yourself with your beloved piece of vinyl plus with the name of the track you’d like us to play from it and why – for a place in our special vinyl celebration playlist.
And if you can give a brief reason why your chosen piece of vinyl is so special to you, even better. It could be the artwork, how you acquired it, if it’s signed – whatever!
We’ll then put your photo in our special Now Playing Listeners' Jukebox graphic, which we’ll post on 6 Music’s Twitter and Facebook feeds at the end of the show, so you can share it if you want.

So, send in your vinyl photos plus track suggestions – including your reasons for your choices – via Twitter using #Vinyl6Music post below this blog, 6 Music’s Instagram page, on the 6 Music or Now Playing Facebook pages, drag tracks onto the show's collaborative Spotify playlist, or email [email protected]
