James Mathé's last effort – 2008’s Chemical Campfires – was quite an acoustic affair so it seems that performing with Jose Gonzalez and friends has rubbed off on him a little. ‘Turbine’ is taken from new album Bloodlines, which will be released in August. Of the album he says: “I loved the acoustic scene, but knew it was not all I was about, so I dug out all my old casiotone keyboards, drum machines and analogue synths and just started writing."
