I'd say 4 or 5. Yup, the band named 4 or 5 Magicians from brighton are in sesison tonight, with their Maida Vale session sounding every bit as exciting as you'd hope. They're one single old, a split with Johnny Foreigner who they gig with, and are a band we predict good things for in the future. Also ont he show this week Big Scary Monsters is DIY label of the week, and there's tunes by the much talked abotu Noah and the Whale, hip hop from S.H.A.P.E.S and kaptin is tipping us on the Welch hip hop scene. Expect more ace indie from Norwich and live tracks recorded at Lake Stage at Latitude from Slow Club and Monkey Swallows the Universe.
