Glum-bog Toilet Chair...
Good evening and welcome along. I hope you are all well. Just wanted to pop on here to let you know I'm not dead. Having a good week off, not done much really, visited a couple of old mates, popped back to see the parents, watched 'Slumdog Millionaire'** and stayed in the 2009 equivalent of Fawlty Towers. Here is a photograph of the toilet seat in my room. With a little bit of wet toilet paper, I made it into a sad face, a glum bog, if you will:
I think I'm doing Vernon's show on Saturday, so I'll be back on the wireless then. Probably.
**'Slumdog Millionaire' is one of the best films I've seen in years. I'm no film expert but I can sniff out a decent one, and this is absolutely excellent. Believe the hype about this one, it very much gets the Early Breakfast thumbs up.
Or, in the style of James King (who is Radio 1's very hard to please film critic) "Amazing film, one of the best ever, great performances, as good as it gets...2 stars". hehe

You sound a little lost with what to do away from radio 1, Im sure they wouldn't mind to much if you spent the week hanging out in the cupboard... or did they ban you for the week?
Looking forward to hearing you on the radio again. I keep going to iplayer out of habit, and realising that theres nothing to listen to.
