It's that time of year again! Voting has officially opened for the 2016 British Soap Awards.
If you want to vote for EastEnders (and we're SURE you do) our nominees in the Best Actor and Best Actress categories, which are voted for solely by the viewers, are:
Best Actor:
- Danny Dyer (Mick Carter)
- James Bye (Martin Fowler)
- Davood Ghadami (Kush Khazemi)
Best Actress:
- Rakhee Thakrar (Shabnam Masood)
- Diane Parish (Denise Fox)
- Lacey Turner (Stacey Branning)
EastEnders itself is, of course, nominated for Best Soap.
Longlist voting is open until Tuesday 26th April at 17.00. The shortlist voting opens on Tuesday 3rd May at 00.01 and closes on Friday 27th May at 17.00.The ceremony is taking place on Saturday 28th May.
The Panel Vote nominations will be announced at the beginning of May. These categories are: Best Comedy Performance, Villain of the Year, Best Dramatic Performance Male & Female, Best Young Performer, Best Newcomer, Best On-Screen Partnership, Best Storyline, Scene of the Year and Best Single Episode.
