OMG. Lauren 'Detective' Branning has had a change of heart and no longer wants to shop Stacey.
She's taking her foot off of the accelerator to bang up her sis-in-law, and she's parking up at 'Forgiveness Street'. Can you hear Stacey's sigh of relief?
The new laid back Lol even wants an 'average' boyfriend. Steady on.
Watch Lauren's latest (and possibly last on the case of Stace) secret vid. Brace yourselves... she's even smiling and laughing:

Walford's seen it's fair share of murders, its been home to a lot of villains, and its housed countless secrets and lies. However, the historic East End borough is no longer able to accommodate Stacey Branning and her exploding secret!
As you all know, after six years of highs and lows, Stacey's leaving Albert Square. *blub blub*
In her tumultuous six years she's grown from a mouthy teen to... erm... a mouthy mum. And she's had a few bumps along the way (and so did Archie Mitchell!)

So, how do you think Stacey will exit? Perhaps she'll catch a cab uttering: "Just take me anywhere", or maybe the cops will cart her off for killing Archie? NOOOOOOOOO!
Or do you think she'll have a happy ending?! She could win the lottery, flee to an LA mansion with Ryan and Lily, and multiple butlers could cater for their every need. In your face, Janine!
Share your exit story for Stacey...
You can also voice your theories on our Twitter and Facebook. Just tweet using the hashtag #staceysexit.

While I'm at it - what are your fave ever Stacey moments? Not that there are many. Yeah right.
Fabulous news alert!
EastEnders clinched an award for Mainstreaming Disability at last night's Cultural Diversity Network Awards, hosted by Gok Wan.
Into its second year, the CDN Diversity Awards honoured the show for encouraging awareness of disability by featuring disabled contributors and characters. It also recognised that the ongoing drama does not feature storylines which exclusively focus on their disability.

The judges praised the positive portrayal of Jim Branning, played by real-life stroke victim John Bardon, and the bipolar disorder storylines, played by Stacey and her mum, Jean.
Week commencing 6th December: As the season to be jolly approaches, let's have a little festive fun with our latest pics. You can rest assured that they won't all feature Christmas cheer, however...
Christmas crackers
Ding dong merrily on high! A splash of festive spirit is on tap at the Vic, thanks Stacey and Janine. Alfie needs to work on his costume if he's going to cut it as a sexy Santa though!
Cash crisis?
Jay and Connor go head-to-head for one of Phil's dodgy deals. What's with the wonga, and who will be left out of pocket?

"Sausage Supriiiiiiise!"
Oh. Yes. The infamous words voiced excitedly from Jean Slater's mouth will LIVE ON in Albert Square.
As everyone knows, Stacey Slater will make a dramatic departure from Walford on Christmas Day and her mum Jean will be leaving our screens around the end of this year too. However, the keen cook will be making a comeback in Spring 2011! *Blows a party horn*

Celebrations all round... Jean's returning to Walford!
How do you think she'll leave Walford? Why will she return? My bets are on keen Jean getting banged up for poisoning Charlie Slater... oooohhh what do you reckon?
Fancy making Jean's favourite dish (be prepared to hear a groan or two around the table)? You may like to follow a couple of Sausage Surprise recipes that have been added to BBC Good Food.
Gillian has played loveable Jean since November 2004, and has received positive acclaim for her role who battles with bipolar disorder.
The storyline surrounding Stacey Branning's continuing battle with bipolar disorder has earned EastEnders top prize in the Soap category at this year's Mental Health Media Awards.
"I am thrilled that EastEnders has won this award," Lacey Turner told us. "Playing the bi-polar storyline was one of the biggest achievements that I have had at EastEnders and I was honoured that I was entrusted with the task of portraying an issue that so many people are affected by. "
In a memorable episode late last year, Stacey was sectioned after her increasingly erratic behaviour.
"From the letters and feedback I have received, I am glad that EastEnders was brave enough to raise awareness of such a sensitive issue," Lacey added.
The Mental Health Media Awards celebrate the best portrayal of mental distress and reporting of mental health in broadcast media.

"... I wouldn't spit on him. I swear to god." Ooooooh, can you guess who Lauren 'detective' Branning is talking about in her latest video diary? We wonder!
Of course... it doesn't take 'a Tamwar' to work it out. It's her dad, Max!
Lauren should join the boys in blue, as she's certainly a force to be reckoned with. Stacey's been rumbled as Archie Mitchell's killer, and Lol is not only out for revenge on her widowed sis-in-law, but she's so angry at her dad for protecting Stacey, that she's taking no prisoners...

Do you blame Lol for being so angry? It's gettin' hot in here... and it's about to get even hotter I can imagine... who do you feel most sorry for here? Should Stacey pay for what she did?

There are plenty of tasty morsels on the Walford menu this week - from prime beefcake to a deep-frozen dish. Go on, tuck in!
Who ordered the beef?
The Vic's turned into something of a Kat-tle market, as Ryan strips of to flex his pecs. But what's this topless treat all about? Or does that even matter, ladies?
Speed Daal
Zainab's cooking up a plan to buy a certain restaurant. But as it's on Ian Beale's acquisition menu too, it'll probably tikka bit of Arjee Bhajee to outbid him...

Lauren's 'loo encounter' with Stacey was not only a whiff closer to clearing Bradley's name over Archie's murder, but also a stinker confession towards banging up her widowed sister-in-law.
Well, Lol was never going to let Stacey get away with murder, was she?
All she needed was sweet evidence... and guess what? A confrontation, a confession and a handy record button on her mobile later...

Disappearing dosh, a kidnapped groom and a desperate dash to the alter... it can only be a Walford wedding!
Jack and Ronnie tied the knot in true Square style, as we were all kept on tenderhooks as to whether the will-they-won't-they lovebirds would actually hear the words: "You may now kiss the bride." AND THEY DID. *Puffs on a party horn*.
Before Roxy's bag of crumpled notes went awol, the frantic Maid of Honour managed to pay off a cheap cameraman to film a wedding video. Perhaps she should have coughed up more cash?

In other words, send the pair a funny message.

All everyone in Walford wants this week is wedded bliss. But will Ronnie, Jack, Kat and Alfie get to the church on time... and will anyone falter at the alter?
Gateaux(ta) my way...
Unless she's suddenly become a bit of a fruitcake, someone's obviously taken the biscuit with Kat on her big day - and is probably about to get iced! Is this what you get for calling Kat a fruitcake?
Money's too tight to mention
Roxy's rocky finances are causing her grief at the moment. Not a good thing when your sister's getting hitched! Better not put yourself down for anything too flash on the wedding list, eh Rox?
