The BBC Global News Director, Richard Sambrook, reflected on his career in journalism with the Director of the BBC College of Journalism, Vin Ray, in an event hosted by the Frontline Club in London.
During the 90-minute session, Sambrook picked out clips from TV and radio which had been important to him in his many roles at the corporation. He also spoke frankly about his experiences during the run-up to the second Iraq war, in particular the reporting of the dossier by Andrew Gilligan and the impact of the Hutton Inquiry on BBC journalism.
