Thursday 4 February, BBC Bush House, London

The rise of social media and the power of word of mouth is having a huge impact on BBC journalism across the world. The way the BBC reports, finds stories and connects with its audience is changing radically.

The BBC World Service MC&A team has been investigating this impact and finding out how best to use them. The team has been carrying out a study in India, Ghana and the UK. Matilda Anderson will be presenting this research at a College of Journalism lunchtime seminar at Bush House. It's open to all BBC staff. If you'd like to come along, email cojoevents@bbc.co.uk.
