Video: Alejandro Litovsky - Reporting Climate Change

Alejandro Litovsky, founder of the Earth Security Initiative, gave this thought-provoking presentation at a College of Journalism briefing on the socio, economic and political impact of climate change.

His point was that we at the BBC and the wider media need to move on from the debate about climate change itself and start looking at what effect it is already having on global politics, business and future investment.

CoJo invited Alejandro to take part in a session with the BBC's environment correspondent Richard Black looking at reporting climate change in the wake of the Jones report and in relation to COP 17, the forthcoming UN climate change conference in Durban.
