'Afghanistan - are we embedding the truth?' is the question being asked at a major Coventry Conversations Conference with Journalism.co.uk and the BBC College of Journalism's Journalism Programme.

It will assess media coverage of the Afghan conflict and whether it's really reflecting the whole story.

Chair: Kevin Marsh, Executive Editor of the BBC College of Journalism.

Speakers: Vaughan Smith, the freelance journalist and film maker; Professor Richard Keeble, of Lincoln University; Professor Tim Luckhurst, of Kent University; and Stephen Grey, the journalist and author.
