Monday 25 October 2010, Bush House, London.

The BBC World Service and the World Service Trust have years of experience in producing lifeline programmes following natural and man-made disasters - in varying degrees of partnership. In this lunchtime session, we'll be looking at three examples of this - from Pakistan, Haiti and Burma.

What worked, what didn't and how we should partner for future emergencies.

Panel:

Victoria Hollertz, Projects Manager Asia, BBC World Service Trust

Shafi Naqi Jamie, Senior Desk Editor, BBC Urdu

Nick Miles, Senior Trainer, BBC College of Journalism

Lisa Robinson, Senior Projects Manager, BBC World Service Trust

Tin Htar Swe, Head, BBC Burmese

Monday 25 October

1pm - 2pm

323 Centre Block

BBC Bush House

London
